How do I delete my account?
Email us from the address linked to your account and we'll process your request within 30 days. All your personal data will be permanently removed.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — full refund within 14 days if you've used fewer than 3 invoice analyses. Unused top-up analyses are refundable any time. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Is this financial advice?
No. FamilyStack provides estimates based on published HMRC thresholds and DfE guidance. Always speak to a qualified financial adviser before making pension decisions.
How accurate are the calculations?
We use the same tax bands, NI rates, and childcare thresholds published by HMRC for the current tax year. However, your actual tax position depends on factors we can't see (tax code, benefits in kind, etc.).
What happens to the invoices I upload?
Invoices are analysed by AI against DfE guidance inside UK servers — they never leave the UK or Europe, and your data isn't used to train AI models. Parent and children's names are kept separate from the saved analysis and deleted within 90 days, sooner if you mark the dispute resolved. Full details in our privacy policy.
Does my partner need their own account?
No — you enter both incomes in one account. You can share your action plan with your partner using the share link.
Why do I need to pay £49?
The childcare calculator is free. The £49 one-off payment unlocks the invoice analyser (12 analyses), salary optimiser, dispute letter generator, and all future childcare tools. No subscription.
Can I buy more invoice analyses?
Yes — additional analyses are £1 each, purchased in packs of 5.
